Invader Ziltoid

Invader Ziltoid is a mashup of the animated show Invader Zim and a concept album by metalman legend Devin Townsend called Ziltoid the Omniscient.

Both are about an alien invading earth, but the former is sent to destroy it, whereas the latter comes to earth and demands the ultimate cup of coffee. When the coffee he receives is sub-par, he vows to destroy the earth. So they’re sufficiently similar, but decently different.

Gustavo

I’d like to present to you: Gustavo Fring from Breaking Bad. I recently watched this show from start to end and it was fantastic! As many of you know, they won a number of Emmys recently and I believe they completely deserved it.

In light of this amazing show, I’ve created this portrait of Gustavo Fring, owner of Los Pollos Hermanos and drug lord. He is a Chilean national, who spent some time in Mexico to get his foot in the door of the methamphetamine drug trade. Later, he founds and builds up a fast-food chain – Los Pollos Hermanos – which he uses as a curtain for his drug business.

Boktai vs. Doom

Boktai of Doom is a mash-up of the video games Boktai: Solar Boy Django and DoomBoktai is about a vampire hunter who uses sunlight (captured by a solar sensor on the physical game cartridge on Gameboy Advance) as his weapon.

The Night Pandas

The Night Pandas are an illusive group of merciless pub quizzers, masters of knowledge and deception. They rarely finish in first place, because they know that it’d be too obvious and risky if they came first all the time.

So anyways, I designed this logo for my pub quiz team. I took some inspiration from Darkwing Duck. I sketched the original design in pencil, then used a Wacom tablet in Illustrator. The background was done in Photoshop.
